Autumn was hectic. I’ve traveled a lot and seen some amazing places. Being able to work from anywhere is a luxury, but it also means my “office hours” sometimes fall late at night, sometimes on a plane and sometimes when everyone else is off. I’m not complaining, though, I’m enjoying it.
Winter turned out to be something completely different last year. We spent a lot of time in Mariefred. Cozy days with family, catching up with old friends and shoveling snow. I even got both cars stuck in it. Yep. That happened.
I did managed to dig one of them out all by myself. I found some gravel under a tarp on a nearby lot. I tossed it under the tires just to get enough grip to roll up to the main road. Not gonna lie, I felt like MacGyver for a moment.
But it hasn’t all just been cozy moments, snow shoveling and fixing things around the houses in Mariefred. I really needed to face all my feelings. As you can probably imagine, it’s been completely overwhelming.
No matter how much I’ve turned it over in my mind and heart, I keep coming back to the same truth: everything I’ve been through has led me here. To this exact moment, this exact place. And looking back, it was all worth it. I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. (Men jag saknar dig, vännen. Varje dag. Du är evig i mitt hjärta. Du har alltid vetat det. Du har alltid varit det.)
Spring is in the air and I’m back home in Stockholm. I’ll be staying here for a while with my book release coming up, publisher meetings, the release party… it all feels a bit surreal. I mean, I wrote a book in my pyjamas and now the first edition has been printed.
Since I want to keep some level of privacy here (more people are reading than I ever expected!), I won’t be sharing any specific dates or details. But for those of you who know my name, the book will be available the week after Easter. The book can’t be purchased before the official release date in May, but a few of the bigger bookstore chains have already chosen to feature it online early, just to give people a first look. I’d really appreciate it if you didn’t mention the title in the comments. Maybe don’t mention the book here at all.
Comments aren’t necessary. And absolutely no names.
Alright folks, now onto the release party, the book launch, the wedding and summer!
Take care!
See you around!

I love you men KAN DU SLUTA FILMA NÄR DU KÖR!
